| Start Planning Early |
| Once engaged, it is never too early to start planning your honeymoon. Most couples do not realize that the honeymoon is the second most expensive cost of your wedding plans, after the reception. Most couples leave the honeymoon planning to the very last after all the other wedding plans are completed, doing this, leaves a very small budget to work with. Planning for your honeymoon should begin after your reception facility has been reserved. Early planning will ensure that there will be plenty of time to look at several different destinations, as well as choosing the best room category. Waiting until two or three months prior to your wedding day to start planning your honeymoon will make finding the perfect destination more difficult, due to higher airfare and seating availability. You will also find as well that the jacuzzi room or overwater bungalow will not be available. So my advice . . . Start Early, even if you are just starting to get ideas." |
